Hi, I’m Leslie, I look forward to meeting you.

Seeking out counseling requires courage and it's a challenge to find a counselor that you connect with. For this reason, let me tell you a little about myself. My favorites include: my goldendoodles, coffee, chocolate, my book club, long walks with friends, hiking, and having my toes in the sand. 

I grew up in a small rural community in Arkansas, surrounded by cotton fields. I had the opportunity to grow up in the era where cell phones didn’t exist, the internet was dial-up, and Friday evenings were for cruising two streets with small town friends. After marrying my husband, Phillip, we moved to the great state of Texas, and after 7 years we found our way to what we now call our forever home state in Tennessee.  My life hasn't always been the Hallmark movie that it may seem. I have journeyed down many hard roads–losing a loved one, experiencing infertility, and miscarriage, along with the blessings and challenges in raising 3 children. 

Here is what I know to be true, life is HARD! All of us have days when we don’t want to get out of bed in the morning, but we don’t have to walk through dark times alone. It would be an honor to walk beside you in your journey, knowing that our days in the valley will be followed by the view from the mountain top.
